Model Minute: How They Take Care Of Their Skin During Winter

Nothing like stealing skincare tips and tricks from models, right?

Especially now that we're nearing the fall/winter season, it's inevitable that we "steal" a few ideas that can definitely benefit our skin, too. Despite dreading the cold winter blues, there's a way to prep our skin in lieu of the bone-chilling temperatures and icy precipitation ahead.

The best part?

We're going to try it the model way. Check out some essential things that models do during winter:

Models do bask with a facial mask..

With the colder months just around the corner, models like to invest in a good facial mask after a day full of meetings, photo-shoots and red carpet affairs. If you're looking for a facial mask, make sure that you choose an all-natural formula that's both lightweight and easy on the skin. And if you're wanting to try something new that be sure to check out our LED Light Therapy Mask ;)

Bonus:  Check out how Victoria's Secret models bask themselves with some LED Light Therapy Masks before walking down the runway!

Models do eat superfoods..

Since models usually have early call times, they tend to finish work late... and that means no more time for a full, glorious meal. This is where eating superfoods come in. According to model, Molly Sims, "I eat all the antioxidants, like goji berries, and I love flaxseed." And the best part? Adding a spoonful of superfood of any kind to the smoothies as it is truly great for your skin. Now that's what you call a healthy model's diet!

Models sleep as much as possible..

When they can, models tend to take in as much sleep as possible because this is literally good for the skin. It helps detoxify and give your skin time to breathe and relax. And it's also the cheapest medicine there is!

Now that you know a few of the model's secret, is your skin ready for the coming winter blues ahead? If you ask us, we sure do!
